Event manager will notify you about issues needing your attention, or even more your intervention.
There are 3 event types –
- Information – Informational messages only, there is no need to really do anything (more like an even log for user / admin actions).
- Warning – There is some kind of incompatibility with the virtual machine current state, and our last known state. This could occur if someone manually turned off a VM (from the hypervisor itself), and our VMM module doesn’t know about this change. VMM will try to reconfigure the current state accordingly, and will notify you when done.
- Attention – There is some kind of error communicating with a virtual machine or the host itself. This can be a communication error, or incorrect login details.
Events that needs your attention will have a “Mark as fixed” button, so you will be able to track this issue.
You can set the event log days rotation from the settings tab. The default is 15 days.
