Restore an email account from CPANEL
How to restore an email account using CPANEL E-Mail Backups?
After accessing your CPANEL, you’ll see under “JetBackup” category an icon labeled “E-Mail Backups”, as demonstrated below:
Click the “E-Mail Backups” icon for the following page:
You can see the 2 options for each email account: Restore, and Generate Download. Clicking the “Generate Download” link in the email account’s row, will allow you to create a downloadable file of the email account:
You’ll be asked to acknowledge that the system saves only 1 download on the server and older downloads will be deleted. Click the “OK” button to generate a downloadable file.
Clicking the “Restore” link in the relevant email account line, will display this:
Where you’ll be asked to acknowledge that the restored email account will overwrite the current one. You could also write your email address in order to be notified when the restore process is complete. Click the “Restore” button:
The email account you wanted to be restored is in progress. Please note that the duration of the restore process depends on the email account’s weight. You can see the restore status using the “Queue” option from the main JetBackup category in your CPANL home page:
Which will lead you to a designated page of your restore status:
