Is it possible to automate snapshot creation ?

One of the great features of JBM is the possibility to create an account snapshot at the cPanel user level. This can be very useful before making changes to an account, so you can role back to your snapshot, instead of rolling back to the last backup.

Snapshots are based on the existence of a full backup, and will be created based on it. This is in fact how the regular schedules backup job is done, only this way it is activated on demand at cPanel user level.

There is no “official” way to create automated snapshots at cPanel user level. You can however create a backup job for a single account, and set it to be executed manually. Then schedule a cronjob to execute the job from the command line, using the jbmcli tool – http://docs.jetapps.com/jbmcli-manually-running-a-backup-job-from-the-command-line
